Welcome! In this video, we will be creating a Facebook Business Account. It will be the primary account where you’ll be creating and running Facebook ads.

There is the other option to run ads through your personal account, but we do not recommend it. Why? Because you can only use that account for one business or brand.

Let’s say I’ve built and scaled up Brewed Treats to a super successful store. And one day, I decide I want to move on and build a new store in a different niche. We’ll use the unicorn niche for example.

Since my personal ad account is already associated with Brewed Treats, I wouldn’t be able to use it to run ads to my new store.

If you’re looking to scale your niche store to over a million dollars, you’re going to need more than one niche store. And in that case, you’re going to need a Facebook business account.

So here are the steps to create one.

*Go to the URL http://business.facebook.com*

You can type this link into your browser or easily launch it by clicking the button below.

** Create a Facebook Business Account

*** Step #1: Name Your Business Manager

1. Come and click ‘Create account’.
   - And then type in your business name and type in your name and type in an email address that you want to sign up with.
   - Click ‘Submit’.

2. Once your Business is created. click ‘Done’.

*** Step #2: Confirm Your Email Address

1. Find the confirmation email and click ‘Confirm Now’.

*** Step #3: Create an Ad Account

1. Find Ad Accounts.
   - Then come and click Add.
   - Next, click ‘Create New Ad Account’.

2. Type in the name of your store,change the currency to US Dollars. Then click ‘Next.

3. Click your account. Then, click ‘Create’.

4. Select yourself from the list of persons and you want to select to have full control and click ‘Assign’.

*** Step #4: Create a Payment Option

1. Click on ‘Ad Account Settings’.

2. Click on ‘Open Payment Settings’.

3. Click on ‘Add Payment Method’.

4. Add either a credit card or PayPal account, which will allow you to start running ads. Then click ‘Next’.

*** Step #5: Change Your Business Name

1. Click on this menu icon then go to ‘Business Settings’.

2. Come to ‘Business Info’ then click ‘Edit’.

3. And on here, you’ll be able to edit your business information such as your business name. After you’ve made the changes, click ‘Save’.

*** Step #6: Update Your Ad Account Name

1. Click on ‘Ad Account Settings’.

2. Click on ‘Open Business Settings’.

3. Click on ‘Edit’. Then, enter your Ad Account Name. Now, click ‘Save Changes’.

And that’s it! You’ve successfully updated your ad account name.
