* Notes
** why the tool
- clone tool
  - not perfect
  - difficult with complicate
- spot healing
  - better but also problem

** set up the tool
- make sure you are at Photoshop 24.5 or higher

*** if you don't see it in spot healing
- go to edit toolbar
- add it

*** use of tool
**** set up
- create new layer
- check 'sample all layers'
- check 'remove after each stroke'

**** use
- paint over area
- if you feel a line isn't straight, just dab

** Tool Options
- options are top in the 'options bar'

*** options
- size
- pen pressure - affects size
- sample all layers
- remove after each stroke
  - when you need to make a number of changes to
    a section before you remove it
    - keep unchecked
    - hit the check mark when you are ready
  - for other situations check it

** retouching
- good at getting with hair going through a ton of things
- things it gets rid of
  - flyaway hair
  - wrinkles
    - get rid of wrinkles on a new layer
    - decrease the opacity of the layer so it's not as obvious

- you can retouch a section of edge to make it more solid

** create edges and lines
- if lines arent connected u can use the tool to join them
