* Description
Now we want to create a Facebook fan page for our new store. Creating a Facebook Fan Page is essential. If we dont, we wont be able to advertise in peoples newsfeeds. Instead, you will only be bale to advertise using the sidebar ads which is very ineffective
Ideally, you want to be adding regular content to your fan page and to be creating custom graphics for it so it stands out. If you do this then you can grow it and you can use it as a free traffic source. Plus, it can help build authority.
** get free photos
Lets create a simple fan page that works. For this, youre going to use a lot of photos and it is crucial that you have the rights for. To do that, you can use Google images.
Lets get started.
1. In the Goggle Images homepage, click Settings at the bottom right part of your screen. Then click Advanced Search.

2. Type in your niche in the Find images with all these words box. Then scroll down and select free to use, share or modify, even commercially in the usage rights dropdown menu. Then click Advanced Search. Now you can have access to images that you can commercially use.

Now lets proceed to creating our fanpage.
*** 1. Add a new page to your personal account.
A. Come to Pages inside of Facebook and click Create Page.

B. Type in the name of your store.
- Then type in up to 3 categories that fit the types of items that you sell.
- Now click Create Page.

*** 2. Edit Settings
A. Inside of Pages, come and select your page.

B. Then click Settings.

C. Go to Templates and Tabs.
- Untick these tabs. Keep in mind that as your store grows, you may want to turn these tabs on again.

*** 3. Edit the About Us page.
A. In your Page, click Add a Button. Then select Shop Now.

B. Then type in the URL of your store. Click Save.

C. Now come and click the About tab. Click Enter website.

D. Then type in the URL of your store. After this, you may continue to update the other details in the About tab. I strongly recommend that you make sure to update your Store URL.

*** 4. Add a Profile Image
A. Go to your Pages profile picture and select Edit Profile Picture.

B. Click on Upload Photo

C. Select the image you want to sue as your profile picture then click Open.

D. You can now drag and reposition your uploaded image to how you want it to appear in your profile picture. Then click Save.

*** 5. Add a Cover Image
A. Come to the Banner, click on Edit. Select Upload Photo.

B. Select the photo you want to use as your Banner Image then click Open.

*** 6. Upload 10 Photos.
A. In your Facebook Page, click on Create Post. Then click this photo icon.

B. Select the photo you want to post then click Open.

C. Wait for it to load then click Post.

*** 7. Add the Page to Your Business Manager Account
A. Inside the Settings of your Facebook Business Manager account, click on Pages. Then click on Add. Then click Add a Page.

B. Type in the name of the Page you just created then select it from the list. After that click, Add Page.

And thats it, youve successfully added a Facebook fanpage.
