In this video, I’m going to teach you how to install the Spin-A-Sale App. Now I was skeptical of this app, but it has been proven & shown time-and-time again to work. And to understand why, we just to look at sales psychology, and in particular, the Law Of Reciprocity. When you give a customer something for free, they feel indebted to you and are more likely to buy. And so this is what we are going to do: we are going to give them a free discount coupon.

Spin A Sale cost $10/month. If you don’t have the budget yet, I suggest you do this when you have a product that you have tested and is selling continuously and then you install this app.

First thing you need to do is to create a 20% discount coupon inside your Shopify dashboard.

1. To do this, in your Dashboard click Discount.

2. Type in the name of your discount code, then put the percentage of the discount that will be applied to the order. Then scroll down and choose Limit to one use per customer. Then click Save Discount Code.

install the app

Now that we’ve got a coupon it’s time to install the app. Before we do that, remember the color that we use for our store in Step 3, we are going to use that as well as the favicon that we’ve used previously.

1. To install the app, go to your Dashboard, click on Apps and click on Visit the Shopify App Store. In the search box, type in Spin A Sale and do a search. Click on the Spin A Sale app.

2. Click on Add App.

3. On the next page, scroll down and click Install App.

4. Then choose the free 7-day trial. And then click Start Free Trial.

5. Scroll down and choose the theme you want to use then click Save and Continue.

1. Next on the Prize name, type in 20% off coupon, then type in WINNER at the coupon name. Set probability to 100. Then type in your custom message in the Prize 1 Details box.

2. Now, do a 15% off on the Prize 2 Details box.

3. Do the same with Prize 3 for 10% off coupon then probability set to 0. Next, do the same process with prize 4 for 5% off coupon then probability set to 0. Then last prize should be Free Shipping set to 0 probability as well. Then click Save and Continue.

1. Now, click the toggle button for the Spin-a-sale App to ‘Show on your Website’. Then click ‘Save and Exit’.

2. Next scroll down to the Text section, type in the title text “Win up to 20% OFF”. Then type in your custom message on the Message Details box.

3. Scroll down and turn on the Include name Field option. Click on the Required box.

Next, scroll down to the Colors and Font section.

1. Go to the Title Text color and choose White.
2. Change the Message Text color to White as well.
3. Now change the button color to our store’s theme color.
4. Then the Peg color to White as well.
5. Next change the Winning color to your desired color.
6. Do the same for the Losing color – pick the same color scheme but a slightly different shade.

1. Then scroll down and select the wheel logo. Select Image then choose the logo that you want to use.

2. Scroll all the way down then click Save. Then click Preview Mode.

And it works! You’ve successfully added the Spin A Sale app to your store.
